कुपोषण के खिलाफ लड़ रहा यह योद्धा

जागरण कार्यालय, अंबेडकरनगर : जिले के बच्चों, महिलाओं एवं वंचितों में व्याप्त कुपोषण, अशिक्षा, पुलिस यातना एवं संगठित हिंसा के खिलाफ एक आवाज यहां बुलंद है। सामाजिक सरोकार से जुड़े इन मसलों पर कदम बढ़ाकर हक की खुलकर पैरवी करने वाले इस शख्स का नाम है मनोज कुमार सिंह। वह अपने इसी कार्य व्यवहार के चलते स्वतंत्रता के सारथी बन गए।
जन-जन के हक-हकूक की लड़ाई लड़ने वाले मनोज कुमार सिंह मानवाधिकार के प्रति काफी सजग हैं। कुपोषित बच्चों को उनके अधिकार एवं अशिक्षित के शिक्षा से जोड़ समाज की मुख्य धारा के लिए संघर्षरत हैं। वह शोषितों के हक एवं सम्मान की लड़ाई की व्यापक मुद्दों से जोड़ने की वकालत करते हैं। मानवाधिकारी जन निगरानी समति एवं आरटीसी (डेनमार्क) के संगठन से जुड़कर शोषितों एवं पीड़ितों को मानवाधिकार के प्रति सजग करने के लिए गतिशील हैं। जिले के बेवाना थाना क्षेत्र के रामपुर सकरवारी गांव के मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार में जन्मे मनोज कुमार सिंह ने 1995 में राममनोहर लोहिया अवध विश्वविद्यालय फैजाबाद से स्नातक की डिग्री हासिल की। शुरुआती शिक्षा के दौरान पांच वर्षीय दलित बालक की कुपोषण से हुई मौत ने मनोज के जेहन में कुपोषितों के हक की लड़ाई लड़ने का जज्बा पैदाकर दिया। इस दौरान इलाहाबाद जिले में आयोजित सम्मेलन में इनकी मुलाकात मानवाधिकारी जन निगरानी समति सचिव डॉ. लेनिन से हुई, जहां इनके विचारों से प्रभावित होकर मनोज समिति के साथ कदम से कदम मिलाकर समिति के जिला कोआर्डिनेटर बन गए।
इसके बाद शुरू हुआ मनोज का संघर्ष अनवरत जारी है। वर्ष 1995 में टांडा ब्लॉक के नूरूल ऐन की आर्थिक तंगी के चलते आत्महत्या एवं अलहदादपुर में दलित प्रीतम की कुपोषण से हुई मौत के मामले को इन्होंने तूल पकड़ाया। इसके बाद एससी/एसटी आयोग, राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग एवं एशियन ह्यूमन राइट कमीशन हांगकांग ने सरकार एवं जिला प्रशासन को जमकर फटकार लगायी। मनोज ने टांडा विकासखंड के मुबारकपुर, आसोपुर, अलीगंज, पुंथर, गांधीनगर समेत दर्जन भर गांवों के सैकड़ों कुपोषित बच्चों की पहचान कर उन्हें स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्रदान कराया। इसके साथ ही वह जिले में पुलिस यातना एवं संगठित हिंसा से पीड़ित लोगों को टेस्ट मनियल थरेपी के सहारे सैकड़ों लोगों को समाज की मुख्य धारा से जोड़ने के कार्य में जुटे हैं। सरकारी महकमें में खास दखल व अपने विचारों, कार्यशैली से जनता एवं प्रशासन को प्रभावित कर मनोज अपनी विशेष पहचान बना चुके हैं। वह स्वतंत्रता की लड़ाई के महान नायक शहीद भगत सिंह पदचिह्नों के अनुसरण के पक्षधर हैं।
बाढ़ पीड़ितों की भी मदद
अंबेडकरनगर : मानवाधिकार जननिगरानी समिति एवं आरटीसी (डेनमार्क) के संगठन के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में सामाजिक कार्यो में जुटे मनोज ने वर्ष 1977 में बाढ़ से बेघर हुए सैकड़ों परिवारों को आशियाना भी दिलाया। बाढ़ से विस्थापित हुए सैकड़ों परिवार जिले की सरकारी भूमि पर रह रहे थे, जिन्हें जिला प्रशासन प्राय: हटाने के प्रयास में जुटा था। बाढ़ पीड़ितों की यह आवाज मनोज ने राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग तक पहुंचाने का कार्य किया। इसके बाद मानवाधिकार आयोग के दखल के उपरांत प्रशासन को बाढ़ पीड़ितों के न हटाए जाने के बाबत लिखित तौर पर करार करना पड़ा।

Door to door campaign against torture and organized violence (DDCATOV)
After mass awareness campaign PVCHR moved to door to door campaign against torture and organized violence (DDCATOV) in its torture free model village developed by PVCHR under its initiative “Promoting psycho legal framework to reduce torture and organized violence” with support from RCT.
In process of door to door campaign against torture and organized violence the PVCHR activist together with community leaders will visit each and every family of the targeted marginalized communities in model village for given below reasons-
• Increase public relationship against torture and organized violence
• Inculcate a better strategy with the involvement of the community for developing torture free village
• Linking the torture and organized violence with social and economical rights
They will sensitize them on all the Acts and directive guideline issued by Hon’able Supreme Court, National Human Rights Commission such as D.K Basu guideline, SC/ST (PoA) Act and D.V Act, 2005, RTE Act, Right to Health etc. At last they will gather at one place for developing comprehensive strategy for developing torture free village.
The DDCATOV campaign is divided in four phase:
First phase: Badagaon block of Varanasi district & Tanda block of Ambedkar Nagar district Second phase: Robertsganj block of Sonbhadra district Third phase: Pindra block of Varanasi district Fourth phase: Domchach block of Koderma district of Jharkhand

Belated justice to bonded labour from Musahar dalit community
I am happy to share that Shri A. K Pandey,
Labour Enforcement Officer came to model village Sarai, Pindra block of
Varanasi district and announced about the rehabilitation package to the 10
survivors (Ram Dayal, Magaru alias Manish, Himanshu, Sudhir, Seema, Reeta,
Gauri, Sunita, Dinesh & Bhola) who were working as bonded labour in brick
kiln factory.
